Me and my Dh were talkign about awful baby names, and i thought I'd share.

I used to work in a passport office - and we had an application for a brother and sister....

She was called Florence-Jolly (yes, with the hyphen) and he was called Lionheart! LIONHEART! grin

Still makes me laugh... poor love!

Who's heard of worse?

ReasonableDoubt Thu 29-Jul-10 18:33:38

Kid at my DS's old nursery called Blade.

Why would you?

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows Thu 29-Jul-10 18:35:48

<sucks teeth> This will not end well. You will now be told off by FJ/Lion's mum.

Worst one I've heard is 'wolf', screamed at by 2 quite gothic looking parents in the local spar. Child in question was a girl. biscuit

Boy/girl twins - Pele and Cartier.

LighteningThief Thu 29-Jul-10 18:53:32

Connor, which is fine until you realise his surname is Reyer, pronounced 'ree-ur'...

Meglet Thu 29-Jul-10 18:58:15

Not sure it's the worst name but when we registered DD's birth the registrar was chuckling at the people before us calling their son Rocket. Bit cool, but probably a bit silly.

She was hilariously unprofessional.

FanjolaLansbury Thu 29-Jul-10 18:58:37

Summa Darlin, fgs why?

FanjolaLansbury Thu 29-Jul-10 18:59:55

God Rocket is a friend of a friend grin, forgot about that, the surname is something pretty cool, I forget what.

Unfortunately the worst I know personally are borne by my unfortunate step nepehews and nieces well, they were before the re namig ceremony that they each chose to take part in between primary and secondary!

The two worst I have come across are a brother and sister called Glint and Toulouse.

CupcakesHay Thu 29-Jul-10 19:25:40

Oh - there's some awful names there! twins def bring out the worse in people!

I think if my Dh had his way we'd have a Disney or an Orlando as he's obsessed!

Connor has to be the funniest (well - with that surname!)

Wanderingsheep Thu 29-Jul-10 19:26:56

There was a little boy on TV once called Rory McRory! How mean is that?

Cakey0207 Thu 29-Jul-10 19:30:40

chocolatefroggie Thu 29-Jul-10 19:36:48
