Hi all, wondered if anyone had a similar experience to stop me worrying!

Pregnant with DC 2 - 18weeks. Diagnosed with hashimotos hypothyroidism after birth of DC1 who is now nearly 3.

I am under endocrinologist consultant care because of thyroid. I feel best at levels of TSH has under 2. At app today got told my level was 4.7 so to go to up to 175 dose of thyroxine (from 150). Fine. Also asked if I was taking prenatal supplements (I am) as I am deficient in vitamin D and calcium. He prescribed VitD supplement for me. He also sent me me this off for a while host of of blood tests- liver/urea/phosphates which got me slightly panicked.

Has anyone had a similar experience and all been ok? It was all a bit of a rush and I didn't ask how bad the deficiency was stupidly. Will the baby be deficient? Why send for all these other tests?

TIA

I have Hashimotos. My tsh flew up to over 400 after ds was born. DD was concieved unbeknownst to me whilst it was still in the hundreds and she is fine. I actually felt better during pregnancy both times but became very uncontrolled after birth.

I also took extra calcium and vitamin D during and after pregnancy.

My increase in dose never really went down again after dd, as every time they lowered it my tsh shot up so i remain on a high dose of 325mg.
