Critique todays new watercolours..

Today I painted two new watercolours..an 'Abstract field of Poppies' and a 'Flamingo'
What are your thoughts...critique them! are they sellable? which is your fave?
Have you painted anything recently??

Not keen on the poppies but like the flamingo.

I love the flamingo. I think it's because of the white space in the background which means the watercolour really shows.

Well this thread took a while to get going!

I think the flamingo works better than the poppies. The red shapes are too undefined to be a specific flower and its only the black centres that make them 'read' as poppies.
