Front or back of slip?

coloured thread or white?

birthdate and christening date or just birthdate?

WWYD?

If I were going to put anything on at all, I'd probably use a gold-coloured thread, and the child's name and Christening date.

I'd put it round the hem. Not sure which date!

either, whichever you prefer. One of these is nice for a christening gift:

I'd put just the name on the hem. Poss in pale co-ordinating colour. Patel pink/blue if you want to go down that route, Or silver if the dress is white, gold if it's cream. My friend had to cancel the cristening of their son as he got the pox. Play it safe with just the name.

In big letters on the front. So the vicar can get it right.
