Can't get enough of movies? Then head over to Mumsnet Films!
It is in just over 3 weeks so I won't have time for big projects. The general idea seems to be to make things for pocket money prices as the ladies organising the table seem to think children would be most interested. So far, somebody has made little flags, heart shaped lavender bags, a few stuffed toys and shoe bags.I have been thinking bookmarks, probably felt with applique flowers or something. Also I have (if I can find it again) a pattern for little knitted purses.Anything that boys would like as this is all quite girl orientated? All ideas welcome. Thank you.
How about some little chalk boards? You can buy blackboard paint from any Hardwear store, paint a small peace of wood, decorate how you want.
That's an unusual idea - thank you.One the boys will like too.I might do a couple for my boys as well.
Small bump. Has anybody else got any ideas?
What about crayon rolls? This tute is nice and easy
Thank you Jack. They look good. I have some 'boyish' fabric I can use to entice the boys to spend their pocket money too (or their parents on their behalf).
They are popular, I make them as birthday presents for DD's friends. If I am feeling organised I add a big pocket on one end and stick a cheap pad in as well.
