I found a flour and water (and paper too!) recipe, instead of glue. Am thinking of using it this w/e. Does anyone know if it might not be as good as good old fashioned glue and water?
Or, infact does anyone have a superior recipe that they may be prepared to share with me??!!! Please?!!!

I thought flour and water paste was the good old fashioned way to make papier mache - it's certainly the way we did it when I was at school 35 years ago ... and mashing it up the bucket is a lot more fun than laying strips on top of glue

Oh! how do I do the flour and water thing with mashing it???
It said in my recipe that I should mix flour and water and then heat it up.
To mash...should I heat and then add the paper...and maybe make it a thinner paste too?

We always use wall paper paste when we are making it, simply mix in a bucket, rip up the paper and throw it in pushing it into the paste with a wooden spoon and then away you go.
