After talk of cutting up my new denim skirt to use on my cards, I thought it would be a bit of fun to see what else you rescue from your rubbish bin!

Anyone elso want to play?

For starters,

an ever growing supply of paper in the hope that one day, I will get around to making another batch of paper. I also save snippets of embroidery thread (especially metallic ones) to put in this paper I am going to make one day!

ribbons off of birthday cakes

buttons off of old clothes

material from old clothes, love denim and linens!!

hoards of stuff from xmas crackers!( I had a little supply heaped on the table and everyone was collecting from their crackers and passing them down to me!

tags from new clothes, got some great little England football team emblems that were just the right size to stick on my footie shirts!

....oh dear, does that make me sad...I could go on, and on... Some one tell me I am not alone in this then...please!

Im the same Dingle. I have piles of old shoe boxes full of "well it will be good for me cards" crap!!!!
I save everything....when the kids have finished playing with a toy or they have lost b&p's I rescue it and pull apart everything just to have some unusual bits that might just come in handy one day!!!!!
Sad thing is ....they never do!!!

Sweet wrappers!

(Dingle, have posted the cards I've made from the B&P I received - not sure if you've seen the challenge thread?)

Ribbons from chocolate boxes
Bags full (and I mean bin bags full) of cards that people pass on to me to pull embellishments, bows, glittery bits off the front)
Xmas cracker bits
Recently bought some new suede trousers from a 'seconds' shop. Nowhere near my size but gorgeous material for backgrounds on cards!!!!
The little ribbons that you get on each side of tops to hang them on clothes hangers - get some really unusual colours.
The little packs of spare threads and buttons you get in clothes.
Odd earrings and broken costume jewellrey.
DD's baby doll accessories
Bits of dd's hair bands
Any bits of shiny/unusual cardboard or paper packaging whatsoever!

OK, I'm stopping there because I'm embarrassed now!
