i love counted cross stitch (or at least i did before I found MN). I must ave £100's worth of completed, patially completed and unopened kits upstairs.

I have been looking at some for my mum recently as a present and have seen a few nice ones which I am tempted to treat myself too like this.

Problem is I am reluctant to buy somethign like this if I don't have a plan of what to do with it afterwards IYSWIM.

Loking for ideas.

But then what do I do with them once they are framed.

I am on the look out for a great Santa one so that I can use it as a decoration. I want something bright and jolly and all I can find is victorian. I had my eye on one a few years ago (called "bearing gifts" I think, but now i can't find it).

I think would like something from a premium collection like Dimensions God with the 16/18count fabric and broad pallet range to give a relaistic effect.

Anyone seen anything?

I like the kits actually cos I am too lazy to go out and buy al the right threads.

Do Anchor and DMC do an equivalent of the "gold" collection do you know?

i think that I have something too specific in mind that i can't find what I want because it isn't quite the one in my mind IYSIM.
