There's a couple of pics on my profile, if anyone wants to see...sill undecided about putting orange squares on the shirt what do you think? I'm pleased with the rest of the cake, but Bob was difficult and now can only see all the mistakes grin

Am very envy.

Surely you are not going to let children eat that? grin

Flossish Thu 11-Sep-08 16:33:09

OMG I was expecting a crappy bob shaped cake - the pessimist in me you see but that is wonderful!! Can you make my DD's cake! grin

geraldinetheluckygoat Thu 11-Sep-08 16:37:02

blush THANK YOU SO MUCH! You know when you make something, and all you can see are the bits that you had to bodge a bit??!!
Stareyeyed, this is a hobby really, it's about the fith novelty cake I've made, but have kind of offered to make people cakes, as needed the extra cash.....this is the second one ive made for other people. I should put the squares on pink chick, but am not great at painting and dont want to mess it up, though I could make new arms if i really balls it up i guess!
Go for it, dilbertina, it will look brill!

geraldinetheluckygoat Thu 11-Sep-08 16:38:51

Really, Stareyeyed, what type of choc cakes? Did you see the ones on the Hairy Bikers this week, they were amazing! This one's sugarpaste, I made modelling paste for the first time for the figures!

louii Thu 11-Sep-08 16:42:12

staryeyed Thu 11-Sep-08 16:44:48

I am absurdly proud of you Geraldine

geraldinetheluckygoat Thu 11-Sep-08 16:48:21

LOL thanks BALD, you had quite a bit of input, so do you think squares, or leave the bugger alone now?? (One arm is wobbly...)

geraldinetheluckygoat Thu 11-Sep-08 16:50:41

Stareyeyed, I LOVE your owl! Did you make the chocolate pieces? He's really, really cool and a little bit retro!!!

mankymummy Thu 11-Sep-08 16:51:26

he looks lovely, like he's sat in sunflower valley quaffing a bottle of wine all afternoon.

how long did it take you? its amazing. one of the best cakes i've ever seen.

BoysAreLikeDogs Thu 11-Sep-08 16:52:30

Leave him alone, he is perfick, and sod the squares.

staryeyed Thu 11-Sep-08 16:54:05

yes I did make the chocolate pieces. I was told I could grate chocolate to make them hmm I ended up with a huge amount of faffing to do it.
