Can't get enough of movies? Then head over to Mumsnet Films!
Dd has recently really been enjoying making coin rubbings - coin under the paper, wax crayon scribbled on top; voila - a pretty picture.I run the craft activities at our local toddler group and would like to do rubbings one week, but don't want to let other people's children loose on coins - bit of a choking hazard.Any ideas for an alternative?
teaspoons? use end of?
Doh - sorry thought you meant that black stuff you rub off with a coin.shakes head, wanders off dimly
bark? Still on the tree - or maybe some chopped up logs?
Ahhh... y'see I've been wandering around the house trying to think of things to use. I could raid the garden!
That none slip matting, bamboo like sun mats,a block of lego bricksfloor tile
you can buy plastic shapes to rub.why not just put a selection of objects out and then see what makes good thngs to rub - discuss with the childrenleavesstring under the paperbottom of shoesbark
could you blu tac the coins to the table and then use them?sounds fun!
