At last I'm painting again, Jack is now 9 months so it's still a bit difficult to dedicate a full day's worth, and it takes a little longer to get things done, see what you think...www.carrottopart.com/page9.htm

I like it. Very unique. I can just picture the look on my DH's face if I did that though (he is very neat and anal!!)

its great.. I really like it... I have left you a comment... you should join us on the craft chat thread... I'm going to have a snoop around your site now.. before I finish doing the hoovering...

I really must get my paints out later.. though my paintings are a much much smaller scale... though I have promised to paint a mural on DS's room when we move to the new house... eek

thanks meridian, it's a cheap source for painting on! So when are you moving, go on dare you to paint a mural, you will love doing it, and will feel so liberated to go to town on a big wall!

hey that is very, very cool - I am the laziest person ever and have to really make myself do any artwork..am ok with a deadline but sitting at my drawing board trying to create something without a brief/deadline/the promise of money is so hard...

loopy--- my paintings are cheap too... on old book pages a few from a relatives attic.... though Id o have some mroe expensive vintage books to tear up

on my blog somewhere...

I'm jsut worried abotu what DS would have me paint on his room... thoughts of rogue cowboy jedi pirate robin hood knights with rocketships doughnut machines and roller coasters.

I think mary all artists find it difficult to work to a deadline, it is part of the nature of an artist I think. I hope to paint lots of pebbles and base them upon the seaside, if anyone has any other ideas what I could paint on pebbles let me know. Thanks for the boost of confidence, lost alot after having the boys and having major probs with pelvis and back x
Meridian, lol about the mural...hmmm... it could work though LOL!!!

loopy- i think houses would look nice painted on the rocks... in softer colours .... I can imagine it but I can't think to type what i can see in my frazzeled brain this morning.. not nearly enough coffee... oh and trees.. paint tiny little trees a bit like your tree mural.. that would be fantastic.....

I like your website loopy... love the logo its fantastic.. did you do the site yourself?

I'm not very good tech wise... would love to be able to do graphic design type imagry but its beyond me... DH did buy me my crafty domain name but I have done nothing to it it just links to my etsy shop...

do you go on any of the craft forums? there is a new one that jsut started a few days ago and has some really fab people who have joined it... I can e-mail you the details if you like... though obviously I would need your email or you could e-mail me at meridianariel @ hotmail . com

and try not to get disheartened by vicious mn-ers ... we crafty types think your site and your art are fab.. and you are too..

I like the site although it looks sort of 'blog-centred' rather than commercially sales-oriented if you see what I mean. Also don't like the way a new window opens each time you click a link, but that might just be a personal preference

Great logo.

You are obviously very talented and I think the family tree is great.

Hmm, thinking about it, perhaps you don't want it to look really commercial anyway.

I think it's great. Personally I like the seperate headings for seperate galleries. Love the logo. Like walnutshell I'm not overstruck on the opening of a new window, but that is because I'm technically crap and it would be quite easy for me to close the wrong window!!! It certainly wouldn't put me off your site or your work. I'm loving the lighthouse canvas.

I prefer the green colour to the black. Sorry, didn't realise earlier that your link was to the blog and that this is not actually the welcome page. makes more sense now!

lol walnut, don't worry about it. I have made life easier and have opted to have just one gallery, there are now no seperate pop up windows. thanks lucykate will pop in later

hiya meridian, I designed the logo and header myself, I used mr.site and rejigged things on it to look more personal so it diesn't use a template and look like other mr.site user sites
