Jewellery on Etsy

Does anyone have their jewellery on Etsy?

I am quite partial to a little bit of sparkle and prefer to buy from a lovely independent Etsy jeweller than anywhere else. If it could be from a MNer that would be even better.

I have a lovely bracelet from Meridian and I also have some of Whizzz's jewellery too.

I make jewellery but I'm not setting up my Etsy shop until the end of next month.
You can see it on my blog though

I can't get into anyone's blogs - I am in China and I bet the bloody government has blocked all the blog sites because people will be talking about Tibet.

I love your stuff, meridian, but unfortunately I am allergic to nickel and can only wear sterling or 18k gold. Can I ask what you've ordered? I love hook earrings with little clusters of different-sized stones. Morganite, labradorite, smoky topaz and freshwater pearls are my favourites so if you were planning to do anything along those lines I'd be very interested in seeing what you're up to.

ninedragons-- I have some sterling clasps and beads... but need to order more silver wire... the wire I have now is coated with nylon so it should be ok anyway.. my mom is alergic to nickle as well and she is ok with plate but cannot wear any gold.

I have amethyst, peridot, garnet on order and a few other bits to play with, and have been considering some smokey topaz actually but havne't ordered any yet as I have some smokey quartz beads that are quite similar. and Labrodorite is a favourite too... I do have some sterling silver earring findings. I probably will be working on jewellery on friday or monday. I will pop a post on here when I do upload to the shop and will keep you in mind.

Please do post, I'd love to see.

I have bought a few of my very favourite pieces of jewellery from Etsy - I don't make anything myself but I think it's brilliant.

Ninedragons I have some pics of the sort of things I've done here I like making things to order if you have anything specific in mind. Happy to help if I can

Oooooh YUM. I don't think there's a single thing there that I wouldn't love to own, Whizzz. Those multi-coloured ring earrings are fantastic. Is there any way to contact you? I don't know when I'll be able to get into blogspot again - I feel like the world's most vapid cow for saying it but I'll have to wait until everything settles down in Lhasa before I get my earrings.

Just about to go live on Etsy - but not yet!! You can email me [email protected]. All handmade and fairtrade. My own website is of the same name.

I can't seem to get into your site, LadySnot - it must be my broadband connection. But I'd love to know when you get your Etsy site up and running.

I shall drop you a line in the next day or so, Whizzz.

I have been quite naughty and bought two things off Etsy today, even though I am in Newborn Tracksuit Pants Land. My husband thinks it's hilarious that when he comes home I am wearing a his decade-old Stone Roses t-shirt with puked-up milk on it with an opal cocktail ring and glittery earrings. My rationale is that there's no need for absolutely everything to slide.

Newborn Tracksuit Pants Land is not so bad, actually. Baby has been sleeping through the night from week four. HBO is running all the Sopranos series from 1-3 a.m. each night and I was complaining to my husband that I thought I'd see more of the episodes but now DD is sleeping through we'll have to buy the DVD. He pointed out that I could become the most hated woman on Mumsnet by starting a thread complaining that I was missing the Sopranos because my month-old baby was sleeping through the night.

Well my ds was sleeping through from 8 weeks but this week he's started waking again.
He isnt well though atm and could be the famous 4 month growth spurt.

I remember saying the same thing about ds1.
Lost was on at the time and I thought I could record it then watch it when I was up for feeds.
Never happened but sods law, the second the series finished, he turned into the worlds most horrendous sleeper.

I used to have an Etsy site a couple of years ago when it was new but I mainly make bridal & christening jewellery and there is some stiff competition out there, so for me it wasn't worth it.
