There is a couple of jewellery designers on here, can't remember if they do silver. Whizzz makes lovely jewellery though.

Sorry, I thought you were going to try and make some and maybe needed advice on findings or shopping

What sort of earrings are you after - I make earrings in sterling silver with various gemstone chips or hearts - tonight for example I'm making a dangly pair, which is basically a silver chain with pieces of antique red coral wired on to it - so it's a modern style but with recycled 1910's necklace that I've taken apart.

Anything in particular you would like - a birthstone maybe ?

Okaaaaaaaaaay...........hmmmmm.....

Most studs are preformed and not made in this country, they are usually cast (poured in a mould) unless you get posh handmade jewellery like for example Dinny Hall's jewellery.

Also, where you get a stud and a dangle for example, like where you would have a silver ball/gem/crystal in your ear and then hanging below it a further gemstone is very easy to do - any idea what sort of colours you would like?

QVC jewellery online is very inexpensive but their gemstones on silver I can make extremely cheap so I could copy anything you saw. Do you have a new Boden catalogue? There is a tumbled rose quartz necklace in there for £69 which I thought was lovely - its approx 120 carats of tumbled quartz - i made it last week for £14
