I have started making chain maille jewellery. Here are pictures of my first two chains.

Twist Chain

Japanese Chain

I wanted opinions on this copper chain..do you think it would be suitable to give as a gift to a good friend ?

Copper Chain

I know they are very simple but I am just a beginner. What do you think

The copper one is my favourite - but that's to do with the colour being so vibrant.

I'm sure your friend would love any of them knowing that you made them yourself

the copper one is my favourite too, i think its a lovely gift.

i think things mean so much more when they have been handmade and had love put into the making of them and not just a gift certificate or random smelly stuff... though thats good too

I'm sure your friend will love it.

Thanks for the lovely comments, I think I will send it to my friend. I have not posted on the craft section before but you ladies are so friendly I'll have to visit this section again.

I love crafts. I have taught myself to tat, cross stitch, make cards and a couple of scrapbook pages. Not that I have much time now I have a LO.
