Acrylic paint pouring art on canvas question

I've been watching a lot of clips using this technique and love some of the effects created. I'd like to do this using blue / greens to use as a background for my fabric and felt collages. This would mean removing the canvas from its frame and obviously no longer be "stretched" - does anyone know if the canvas would then be all wrinkled up and not look so great for use?

So, you’re ditching the Christmas socks, birthday gift cards or other impersonal gifts this year and opting for an art print instead.

That is an excellent idea. Art prints make fantastic gifts because they are often unique, can match the receiver’s personality, and are suitable for any occasions.

Whether you are heading to a wedding or moving the kids into their new home, here are the three biggest questions to ask before choosing an art print as a gift.

What, what are the three biggest questions to ask? Maybe my first one is why has someone copied and pasted from an online article?

Ah yes that seems likely!

Can you not pour onto the canvas framed?

What Kolla said. Then cut it off the frame when dry.

I've just found this thread I started a while ago. What a strange comment from Barcadyn! Made me smile. And I wonder what Suraget said to have message deleted!

Anyway, I tried pouring on the canvas as usual, letting it dry (took ages) and then cut it off the frame to be used as background for a separate collage. Wrinkled a bit, but generally OK.
