selling your wares!!

Hi
am making some odd bits of jewellery from stuff my dh brought back when travelling. Does anyone know where is the best place to get details of local craft fairs/stalls, markets etc where I could perhaps have a stall for a day.
This is all completely new to me, so would welcome any advice at all.
Also does any know of a crafty type magazine which is useful as regards the above.?
