DD has learnt to knit - How on earth do I cast off??

I can't remember - I'm sure it was easy - but I haven't knitter for over 25yrs

Katymac, I've found this site quite useful in the past because it is easier to see how to do things from a video. I get a bit afluster when someone explains it to me here

Yep, when I first took up knitting a year ago, after 15 years of not doing it, I found that site an absolute godsend.

Great site.
We had this problem when away on holiday in Scotland in February.
DSs learnt to knit, but I couldn't remember how to cast off.
We have two VERY long scarves, still attached to the needles, so I will now be able to sort them out.
