Coarse chunky wool recommendations please

I'm looking for a nice coarse wool in chunky - like icelandic wool maybe, but in nice colours. Ideally I'd like the sort that blends through different colours iyswim. I'm looking to make a nice sofa throw.

Google is not being my friend this morning!

How about Lopi?

I love lopi (icelandic wool) smile so its a spot on recommendation! Thank you. I just couldn't find any that transitioned from one colour to another. But I think I'll have to give up on that idea. I've decided that a solid colour is fine after all.

Do you reckon about 15 balls for a 60x48 blanket?

Oh I didn't register you wanted colour change yarn. I'm sure you could transition the colours for a similar effect. I'm not sure about yarn requirements, but this one used 9 skeins, if it helps.

It helps if I know the terms to use. grin

That's gorgeous! And very helpful too, thank you smile
