Help - I need expert knowledge about card?

I want a fairly cheap (but expensive looking) card - hopefully with an oatmeally look or preferably texture

Sort of with a fleck in it

Does that make sense

I need to be able to but it on-line - but I'm a bit stumped as to what to search for on google

Any ideas?

It's for my childminding brochure/leaflet

It needs to go through the printer

But I thought something which looked as it it had a texture might look nice

The handmade stuff might not get good print quality from your printer because of the texture/absorbancy of the paper.

I've got some with small brown fleks in it which is, I think, eactly what you're after but it's paper and not A4.

That link is the kinda thing - but it's way too much - I was thinking of something much less fell on - a bit too bitty?

I found some more with just brown flecks, but it was a bigger sheet. I think it could work out too expensive for leaflets/brochures though.

I think you maybe want a stiffish paper rather than card if it's to be the whole leaflet.

Hmmm - I tried it with paper & I thought it looked quite cheap

I guess I could use plain card - but I was trying for an expensive/classy look really

Try Parchment paper/card which has a sort of watercolour paper texture I think or Ingres paper which has textured lines on it.

Both v nice. Hope I have got it right, I teach Graphics so should know my papers and cards.......but I often make mistakes.

Or even watercolour paper looks nice if heavy grade

What paper did you try it with?
What is the brochure/leaflet thingy going to look like - is it just a single sheet, folded or is it a proper booklet with pages?
How many sheets do you need?

1 piece of card/paper folded in half with 4 'sides' of printing

But I want it to scream quality

It is the start of the branding/marketing/advertising for the nursery - so it's very important to me

But it must be fairly reproducable - and I need to match paper to it as well for invoices/letters etc

I hadn't really thought it through - but I guess a mainstream card & paper might be better (continuity of supply)
