Please help me decide between painting courses

Hi, I really really want to learn to paint. I tried many times but to be honest I am not very naturally talented. I usually give up after some time when I don't get the desired outcome.
I know I need to work on my patience and perfectionism. Part of the reason to do this course is to find a hobby to relax and build some self esteem.

I have decided to do a 5 week long course at Camden Art Centre. I need to decide between - Painting material and Form (will explore different materials and techniques, and will work on an art project of our choice) and Painting from image to abstraction (abstract painting, different techniques and a project).
Considering I have little experience and I am v low on patience, which course is better for me? Your thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
In case you want to see the courses -

Many thanks in advance.

I think for you to appreciate abstraction you need to do the other course first so you understand how the materials work and which ones you prefer . You will be able to develop your own style and preferences. Then you can go on and do whichever style , school and medium you want. Good luck. And most of all enjoy it.

Thanks Pasithea

I agree with what you say about figuring out materials and technique first and then developing the style. I have missed the date for that course already. I did not quite like teacher's style of painting.
The only option I have for now is abstract course. I will go ahead with it. They will teach basic techniques. I hope I will learn something.
Thanks a lot for your message :)
