I just can't think of anything to do
Make a dress or bag
Crochet
Get the hot glue gun out
Beading
Maybe I have too much choice, but what have you made recently that you have enjoyed

I made some jeans for DS aged 8. With Harry Potter themed stitching on the pockets.

Sewed some leggings using a commercial pattern but altered them to accommodate my bump. Practically living in them.
Also learnt to crochet and making a baby blanket, very proud

Crocheted a spaceman for a gift - it's the first thing I've made without a pattern and so pleased with how it turned out (although there was an awful lot of undoing and starting over)

My Frida Kahlo skirt, made today! It's a bit tight around the arse (I didn't use a pattern) but I'm pleased.

These projects are gorgeous! I really love the Frida skirt and the Persian tiles blanket is the nicest crochet blanket I've ever seen.

I've turned a Billy bookcase into a 3 story doll house for dds birthday next week.

She is obsessed with barbie sized dolls and they will all fit. Still to ad a few details/decorations.its been fun.

@FabalaTheGreenGirl where did you get that amazing fabric!?

Report
ScreamingValenta · 29/04/2018 00:50

That skirt is fabulous.

FabalaTheGreenGirl · 29/04/2018 08:43

The fabric is from ebay and it's by Alexander Henry (there may still be some left if you're quick). Wolf and Badger sell a skirt in this exact fabric for £159 so I'm even more chuffed, As this one was £15 for a metre of fabric!

That spaceman is amazing!
I have made an infinity scarf from some cute octopus print jersey sadly as soon as I put it on I look exactly like my dm Shock so i probably won't wear it much.

It's not quite finished yet but I'll post some pics soon.

If you google "billy bookcase dollhouse" this is what started me off.

I'm using the Ikea doll furniture.

I didn't do a pitched roof - dd will probably want a pool up there Grin

And I am leaving some of the floors & walls for dd to decorate herself as I know she will enjoy that.
