Selling Handmade Textiles online - Is there a helpful guide ?

Having recently reaquainted myself with my sewing machine making handmade textile goodies, I'd like to try and sell some of my work.

I am not looking to pay off the mortgage but would like to try and earn a little bit. People seem to like my work so thought I'd give it a go.

Is there such a thing as a helpful guide to get you going ? ie tax, declaring earnings etc.

Might try a Facebook Page or designated online Handmade Selling Sites.
