Scrapbooking Help!?

Hi!
I’ve made a couple of scrapbooks as gifts for friends they weren’t the best but were thoughtful . It’s my Dad’s 50th this year and I want to make one that is of better quality and design. I always struggle with layouts and what accents and toppers to add. Just wondered if you had any tips? Or if anyone has created one already and doesn’t mind giving me ideas? Thank you!
