Oddments of wool for charity

My mum has some oddments of wool left over from my grandma's knitting days. There are various colours (red, grey, yellow, lilac, sky blue, pale blue, pale pink, white - and a few others I'm sure) in various amounts. Some are about enough to make a pair of baby bootees, some are more. She estimates there's about a carrier bag full. Does anyone know of any charities who take oddments of wool please? Thanks.

I would think most charity shops would.

If not, a nursery or reception class would probably love to have them.

I used to work in a charity shop. We couldn't really domuch with wool unless it was full (or nearly full) balls. People just weren't interested otherwise. hth
