We're off to a wedding in a few weeks and I haven't been able to find DP some trousers. He's an awkward shape and is a farmer so doesn't have the time to be traipsing round shops trying many pairs on. I also wanted a dark pink pair to match the stitch in his jacket, and there aren't any around.
As time is now running out and funds are a little low, I was thinking of dying a pair of his trousers that fit really well. They're light pink at the moment but a bit faded in places, so I thought of using Dylon Burlesque Red on them. Does anyone have any thoughts on how the colour will dye over light pink?
I used Dylon to dye the sofa covers and it worked really well, but I'm not sure if that's giving me a false sense of hope. DP loves his pink trousers so will be very upset if I ruin them. I have promised we'll save up for a new pair for next summer because he does look lovely in them, it's just a shame that they're faded so not suitable for a wedding as they are.
