Recaning a chair.

I have just bought the bargain of the century - a beautiful rocking chair! It has a cane seat and back, though, and needs redoing.
A long shot I know - but does anyone have any experience of doing this please? I know it is a bit specialised but I would like to have a go myself if poss.
