Fiskars 'amplify' scissors question

Does anyone have these? I bought them as my first pair of scissors as I want to get more into sewing.

I thought buying these would be a cover-all as they are for cutting thick heavy duty fabrics so figured they must be good at regular fabric too.

However, am having a bit of a wobble about that logic now and want to ask others opinions before I take them out the packaging!
