Ideally I'm looking for Christian Christmas crafts (thinking angels, stars etc!) for primary school aged children to make...

Any thoughts?

Ds1 made a lovely bell to hang on the Christmas tree last year - solid polystyrene bell from craft shop decorated with sequins attached by putting sewing pin through the wee hole in the sequin and sticking it into the bell (does that make sense?). Better stickage than glue. Call me if you like.

salt dough stars and xmas tree shapes etc. If you can get 'art glitter' this is absolutely fantastic. Much finer than normal glitter it gives a beautiful sparkle!

Also little material stockings, you would have to machine sew for them but very cute.

Why not decorate church candles?

Cut snowflakes out of white paper (like making doilies, with a folded circle) and then mount them on dark colours?

errm.. silk leaves, sparkly snowflakes,,glitter glue swirls drawn freehand.. maybe you could draw in pencil and give children a line to follow...tinsel, anything you can stick really - just remind parents etc that they are for decoration unless they remove the stuff...
