Cheapest place for coloured card/paper?

I'm wanting to make some decorations for my DD's birthday at the end of the month. Things like paper bunting, garlands, paper pom poms etc. but I'm not sure where is the cheapest to buy the materials I need.

I need pastel coloured card or paper, tissue paper and things like that.

I don't have 'the works' near me which I know is a good shop for craft stuff. I've looked on ebay but I am sure it can be found cheaper elsewhere. The only other place I can think of is Hobbycraft which is expensive Confused

Any ideas?

Asda and tesco sometimes have quite a good range of card and craft stuff reasonably priced.

I was going to say The Works :(

Do you have a Poundstretcher or anything like that? They sometimes have "craft packs" with an assortment of that sort of thing in.

The Works have a website. I've bought bunting from there previously.

Thanks for the ideas, I'm going to have a hunt round tomorrow.

I didn't realise they had a website!

I've just got everything I wanted from the works online! Got 15% off and free delivery too. It would have cost me a fortune in Hobbycraft! So thank you Smile

Aww that's good, happy buying-making :) I've spent about ten quid recently on arts and crafts materials because I thought I should do 'Messy Play' with my toddler. It turns out he likes to stay clean!
