I just thought I'd check to see if it was ready Blush

It is, and yuuuumy.

There were no sloes last year in my area so I bought dried ones from Amazon - tastes just the same as last years batch with the added benefit of no preparation - cost £6 instead of free but still it's not much money to turn 6 litres of the cheapest gin you can buy (a special in waitrose at £7 a litre last year) to something v v tasty.

Sounds lovely. Sloes are hard to come in these parts, and I have been known to make an alternative with frozen summer fruits, and blackberries...
