Please help.
Some of you busy Easter crafters must be able to tell me how to make my eggs smooth and even in colour.
Is it a case of dying them rather than painting them? Obviously painting them doesn't give the finish I'm after, it's too messy looking and uneven.
I'm picturing pastel coloured eggs in my mind and I've seen them in pictures before but I don't know how to make them like this.
If you do dye the eggs do you put the dye in the water when boiling them? If so, can I use food colouring?
Hope someone can help me,
TIA if you can
