I'm open!!!
Grin
It's been a month now and Christmas went well, but blimey it's hard work and that's just on the jaw front from chatting to so many crafters Grin
I've tried to take on all the advice I could,.. I have knit and natters and a stitch and bitch, I've got Rowan and Debbie Bliss, lovely french embroidery stuff, fab needlepoint kits and supplies... t'is all very exciting.
And next month, when my website is ready, I'll put an ad on MN...

I will do, Anya, as soon as my website is up and running, and if you phone me I guess... and yes I'm very friendly to newbies, mainly cos I'm pretty new myself.
I'm just an experienced hand stitcher, but certainly not an authority... and I don't know a great deal about knitting/ crochet at all.. but my god, I'm learning quickly..
I'm constantly worried that someone is going to ask me an advanced knitting problem and I have no idea what the are talking about Blush Grin
and thankyou stitchthis
I don't know if this is allowed, but if you have a look on facebook for hoopandloop you'll find me

thankyou..it is very exciting, but I am a nervous wreck underneath it all.
Thankfully most of my walk in customers have been so complimentary and positive and that definitely helps calms the fears,
but there are the odd ones who are not very nice when they realise I'm not stuff to the brim with every single item of craft paraphernalia... but I can't let them worry me (even though it does...and it feels oddly personal)

It looks fantastic on facebook, just beautiful. I am fainting at your logo and stacks of ribbons. I live 150 miles away too but will be searching you out should we find ourselves in Kent Grin. Best of luck for a busy and profitable year Smile

nickelbabe · 09/01/2013 16:00

you've got books, too, haven't you, not just patterns?

Report
nickelbabe · 09/01/2013 16:04

it does feel personal when they can't believe you don't stock something.

like, i'll get someone coming in for books that i finally sold reduced to a pound after having them on the shelf for 4 years and they can't understand why i don't stock them!
