im really no good at anything crafty so am very pleased with myself having made some lovely salt dough gingerbread men for all my dds adopted Aunties ! before i put a layer of glossy clear varnish over the top does anyone know what i could use to write on the back the name and date ?
Ive had a go with a thin paintbrush and white paint but its a bit big and clumsy .
The GB men are a dark brown colour painted with acrylicpaint.
TIA
Ill post a pic when ive finished as sooo pleased 1 x

Varnish first then write on with a sharpie when dried?

Are they so dark that black sharpie would appear? If not you could paint a lighter patch before varnishing so the sharpie shows through,

I must admit to preferring to sharpie features on as well, after varnish.

Could you use a silver or gold pen before you varnish?
