you can get plain ones now in pastel colours, frosted, clear, black etc as well as the colouring in ones

do you have any tips or good ideas for them?

you draw your own pictures or colour in printed ones and end up with a little thick version...

or are they a bit naff?

My dd loves them - makes them into fridge magnets and puts them on the cards she makes. Also made some pretty good decorations for the christmas tree this year - you need to remember to make a hanging hole in the plastic before you shrink it though!

I confess to having used them for cards - I think one a made is in the gallery. I think they look quite good as you get the raised 3D effect.

I use them on cards. Make little trains and birthday cakes and houses with them. Anything in fact. PAint with glass paint after and they look very good

Nah I'm not much use at that either, but my kids have made great keyrings and magnets with shrinkles .

I've just bought a special Christmas pack of Shrinkles. You colour the Christmas pictures, puncc a whole in them and when you've shrunk them you can put a gold thread through them and you have got decorations for your Christmas tree!
I bought them from ToyCrazy - here is the link to the Shrinkles: ToyCrazy Shrinkles
