EASY online shop/website software package?

Can anybody recommend an online shop package please? I'd rather not sell on etsy or folksy, simply due to the massive amount of products on there - I'd just get lost with my few items.

I've heard that you can get a simple software package for a basic shop. Has anybody used these or can anyone show me an example?

It's just to sell a few knitted accessories at the moment, so I need something I can build on and update easily, whenever (IF) I get spare time here and there.
TIA

Can't help with packages, but how would anyone find your site? You'd have to invest to get it noticed, whether in google adwords or sponsored links.
You could try having a company FB page instead where people message you if they want to buy.
Etsy is massive but so is its traffic - and it's a very good way of testing the market. I'd give it a go first, and maybe you can ask other sellers on it what packages they used for their sites.

Thanks ranty, that's the sort of thing I was after...

Betabaker, I'm going to look into etsy properly but I'm a bit intimidated by the HUGE competition tbh!

I know, but you also have to think 'where are my customers going to look first?' and 'how easy is it to find my site?'
"Setting up shop on Etsy is easy and takes only a few minutes. You can customize your shop with a banner, profile, shop policies and more. You?ll get your own URL for your shop based on your username, etsy.com/shop/username "
then there's ebay...Hmm

Also a lot of people set up a Facebook page with their business name.
