Any ideas how I can recycle some pyjamas made from good silk?

Child sized unfortunately, but have lots sentimental value as Dh bought them for the dds when on an extended stay in the far east.

So small individual pieces - but not ideal for patchwork I think.

Any ideas?

How making them into little ornaments to decorate the Christmas tree (sorry, always stop by the Christmas thread on my way here to am predisposed to a bit of festive craft!) Something like this:

I did wonder, especially as the fabric is gold (nice gold). I did not want to snip and regret!

You could try making a bag, you don't need a lot of fabric for a clutch bag. Might need some clever cutting out. Or maybe a purse. This site has some great patterns.

I made this out of a little dress for my dd, its a little cushion for her window seat. You could make a corsage flower very easily out of them. Either to use as a pin or to put onto a hairband.
