Any papercrafters out there who could advise me on embossing/diecutting machines?

I'm planning to handmake our wedding invitations and want to get an embossing/die cutting machine for extra poncery. Grin

As far as I can make out the best reasonably-priced options would be a Cuttlebug or a Spellbinders Wizard. Can anyone advise me as to the pros and cons of each?

TIA Smile

Hi There,

What are you wanting to do - I am sure with the knowledge and expertise on this forum we can get you your invitations etc without you spending lots of dosh on cutting machines....

I am happy to help you - I have a Black Cat Cougar which sits in the corner of my studio - not being used much... but it is beautiful and does lots of whizzy things.

So tell us/me - what do you want / need to do and the money saved you could donate somewhere or something ???

I have a 2nd hand wizard and it does everything. Very well made and will (has) last for years.

I am happy to emboss some card for you. I have quite a few embossing folders that might be suitable. Smile

I have a sizzix sidekick that I bought for my wedding £10 and bought some lovely die's off eBay. It depends on what you want to do with it and what die's you'll need. But could only use certain dies in the sidekick as most didn't fit. Wish I'd bought the actual sizzix machine. I do use it alot still. Quite handy at christmas as well. Friends and Family all use it as well.
