So it's not actually a gingham, just alternating blue and white squares?

HelloKlitty Thu 07-Jul-11 13:41:57

I think the OP means like this but in blue and white

I found this in a USA shop and they ship internationally...but it might be paler than you want.

ooh what about this?

HelloKlitty Thu 07-Jul-11 13:43:58

Just seen that you want 4mm squares! gah.

trumpton Thu 07-Jul-11 14:21:15

Can you check ( Ha! see what I did there!) the size of the squares . I am a woman on a mission.

HelloKlitty Thu 07-Jul-11 14:42:22

She says in her OP they're 4mm trumpton

trumpton Thu 07-Jul-11 17:26:12

Well I knows that !! But tis vair tiny squares and I wanted to make sure . I have been looking at chef square fabric and can find trousers in fine squares am still searching for fabric by yard. Or perhaps if it is for patching then trews could be cut up. grin

HelloKlitty Thu 07-Jul-11 17:33:11

HippyHippopotamus Thu 07-Jul-11 17:34:05

<adjusts genius crown>

I'll bear your search in mind if I see any of the right size. How much do you actually need? If I see any in the local fabric shops, do you want me to buy it?

HelloKlitty Fri 08-Jul-11 12:28:39

If you want to print your own o can do it at www.spoonflower.com

I have used them a lot....you can design your own or you should have a look at existing patterns on there as they have tonnes...and you can even choose your own fabric type...so cotton, upholstery fabric or stretchy stuff...it's a great site...US based but not too epensive...and they're good at keeping in touch when you wait for your orders.

Up to what price per metre do you want to pay?

dizzyday07 Fri 08-Jul-11 23:21:56

This is about the right sort of scale (I think hmm) but would be quite pricey for 3-4m!
