Hi everyone,
I just wondered if anyone had any personal experience with this!
I'm currently 12 weeks gone with my second baby, had my screening bloods done and thought that was that, then got a phone call yesterday from one of the midwives. She said my blood work showed I was positive for the anti c antibody and I will need my blood tested every 4 weeks until 28 weeks and then every fortnight until labour. Baby may also be monitored with scans to check for anaemia.
It says on my notes I'm now a transfusion risk which I'm a bit anxious about as I narrowly avoided a transfusion with my first!
Has anyone else experienced this? How did it go?
TIA ☺️
