Just found out we have a raised NT measurement and give a 1/155 chance if downs so just outside the high risk category. Anybody else had 3.2 and everything been okay?

Hey @Sixpencefaux - I recently got an NT of 4.1mm so have been doing quite a bit of research into this. Sounds like anything below 3.5mm is still considered normal and that is also what I have been told by several HCPs including a consultant we saw yst. I’m afraid I can’t offer you anything beyond that, but I reckon there will be lots of people on here with NTs around that level that have gone on to have healthy children.

@Festivemovie I wasn’t offered further testing due to it being on the cusp. Which makes me more anxious

3.2mm is within the “normal” range, so if the rest of the scan looked normal it is very unlikely that this indicates a problem. 3.5mm is the current threshold for suggesting additional investigations. I posted and followed a lot on some threads here after my 12 week scan. We had NT 2.9mm but also no visible nasal bone which is marker for chromosome abnormality. Obviously no guarantees, but our CVS was clear and at 20 weeks both of these things had normalised x

Hi , my baby has 3.2 NT in first screening . It's nasal bone is fine and also the development of the rest of the body parts too. Doctor suggested to do a DNA test to see whether there is a chance of having a genetic disease. My age is 32 and did the DNA test yesterday. I am worried about this episode and appreciate your inputs to have a positive hope.

My son's NT was 3.3 at the 12 week scan. I came out as higher risk, so ended up having an amniocentesis. All appears to be fine.
