Hi all! Thought I'd make us a new thread as the last one is almost full. I've copied and pasted the intro from the last one so I hope that's okay.

Anyone else had light brown discharge? I've always have a bit more discharge when I'm pregnant but I've just been to the loo and there's none when I wipe but there was some light brown discharge in my pants not dark like a period and only a bit but should I be worried? Xx

Balajake Mon 16-Mar-20 18:27:11

I hope to be part of this thread soon.

Treaclepie19 Mon 16-Mar-20 22:03:26

@Balajake welcome lovely. I hope you're doing okay, you're welcome to join while TTC or before. Don't worry about that. These ladies are amazing.

@BooMamaBear how is it now? They normally say brown is fine especially only a small bit.

Hello everyone, just commenting so I can save the new thread - haven't really said much on the last one but I often lurk! It's really helped my sanity over the last few weeks, knowing I'm not alone!
Hope everyone is well x

Hi ladies. Just wondering how those of you that aren't pregnant yet are feeling atm? I've finally reached the end of the three months we were advised to wait before trying again, and now my husband is having doubts due to the coronavirus. Getting pregnant again is the only thing keeping me going after losing my daughter 😞. X

Balajake Tue 17-Mar-20 13:57:00

My termination was only on Friday but I can’t wait. Only thing keeping me going is TTC. As soon as my body allows it of course

1stbabs Tue 17-Mar-20 15:05:43

I'm so sorry for your very recent loss @Balajake .. yep I want to continue with ttc too, unless the specifically advise people that they shouldn't.

Treaclepie19 Tue 17-Mar-20 15:09:52

I'm struggling a bit with being pregnant amongst all of this.
I've no clue who to leave our 4yo with for our scan. I'm thinking I may have to go alone. The thought of dealing with bad news alone is just shit.
This is not what I expected.

@Treaclepie19 can your husband not be there with your son ? Maybe book it off as a holiday from work

1stbabs Tue 17-Mar-20 20:02:25

@Treaclepie19 have you not got any friends or family that could look after your son, or come with you? Hopefully you'll only have good news but would still be better to have someone to support you. Xx

Treaclepie19 Tue 17-Mar-20 20:34:10

@Balajake yeah he's working from home anyway so he can be at home with him but children aren't allowed to the scan.
@1stbabs it's a bit tricky. My mom is in a couple of the high risk groups so I was worried about her catching it from my son. Though now he's at home with me social distancing so technically he's low risk to be around her. She is going about her business as normal so I'm a bit nervous to send him to her in case he catches it.
I have one friend I might ask if we need to.
I'm just stressing 😩

@treaclepie19 I see now. With mine they made husband wait outside first with my son , then brought him in to tell me the bad news. you’ll be so anxious going in alone as I was but at that point she didn’t know she’d have to tell me something was wrong.

Maybe best option is to go with husband and son. He waits outside whist she gets measurements then he comes in when she’s finished

Treaclepie19 Tue 17-Mar-20 21:41:53

@Balajake Oh lovely that must have been so tough flowers
They're advising not to take children to the hospital so I don't know what's best. I've got a bit of time to think it over I suppose.
I'm so happy to be pregnant but so worried something is wrong and so worried coronavirus will cause a problem.
Still, I have to try and be positive.

It’s not easy I know, not after what you’ve already been through. It’s such a rollercoaster of feelings.

Is anyone with upcoming scans starting to get a bit nervous? I thought I felt fine but my subconscious says otherwise - my nightmares have been awful. In the last 4 days, I've had one where I was in the same room as last time and she told us the NT was too big again, there was no hope and switched off the screen. And last night, I dreamt I had a miscarriage and had to pull the baby from myself. They're absolutely horrific.

My scan is on Tuesday and I'm so ready for it now. If only to get some peace of mind and try to chill out 😞

NoCallerID Sat 21-Mar-20 10:57:49

Hi ladies, jumping on here prematurely but love reading all your updates. I'm only 3 weeks post TFMR and we'll give it a cycle to recover and then we'll be back at it.

@otterbaby that sounds horrific. When is your scan? I've had the craziest pregnancy dreams thanks to hormones (and still have atm), and kept carrying the memories throughout the day worrying and feeling down. I believe that we work through our fears in our sleep and that worst case scenarios are very normal after what we've been through. I hope you can get some rest without any dreams/nightmares.

otterbaby Sat 21-Mar-20 12:50:56

@NoCallerID Tuesday so not long to wait. That's the thing - I feel fine during the day but it's clearly haunting me at night!

BooMamaBear Sun 22-Mar-20 05:14:12

@otterbaby -I'm the same I keep waking up at 4.39 am sometimes following a nightmare where I've started bleeding or something! I'm 10+3 and my test and scan is a week on Tuesday as I only have a 50/50 chance if this baby being ok I'm terrified and the days are dragging but I'm hoping this is 3rd time lucky and I'm trying not to think about the results yet! Xx

Treaclepie19 Sun 22-Mar-20 06:43:15

Nervous here too.
I've got so much on my mind though. I keep worrying that if we have to isolate for symptoms I'll miss my scan and it's really panicking me.
Still a week and a half to go.

Hi all, just checking in on the new thread. Not really been active as I'm coping with this pregnancy by trying to forget I'm pregnant as much as possible. Recently found out my mum has a pretty bad brain tumour so that's taking my mind off pregnancy worries as awful as it is. Got my scan on Thursday when I'll be 13 weeks so just hoping that it all goes alright. Don't think I can deal with anymore bad news.

Hope everyone is keeping well and safe in this very uncertain time. flowers

ShootingStar2020 Mon 23-Mar-20 07:23:46

Morning ladies. Sorry for radio silence. Work has been particularly busy due to the current situation. Hope everyone is doing ok. It’s a strange time. London is rightly v quiet. I am appreciating not having to commute and having the kids home but juggling them and working at home is interesting!

@Treaclepie19 - how are you feeling today? Sending hugs. X

@BooMamaBear and @HungryPanda92 - it’s so normal to try to detach yourself and feel so nervous. @BooMamaBear - is there someone in the midwife team you can chat to? Third time lucky was my mantra before I had DD.

So my update starts last week when I did a test as my boobs were feeling a bit sore. Just assumed it was my period but the test came back as a BFP!!! I nearly fell over but then given govt announcements everything moved so fast. 5 weeks today so going to call the EPU. Honestly what a time to find out! We are so happy but also not getting our hopes up. I am trying to detach myself tbh. Day by day.

Stay safe and have a good Monday. At least the 🌞 is out!! 😘

BooMamaBear Mon 23-Mar-20 08:03:23

So happy for you @ShootingStar2020 was really hoping you'd catch soon!
I have a genetic counselling team and a supportive family so I'm ok just it's still scary! This is my 4th time of having this test but it doesn't get any easier!! Xx
