Thinking of another baby in my 40s

I’m 44 next month due to get my udu taken out next week. I’ve given birth to 5 children this includes a set of twins. All have been what you would call normal pregnancies. But the twins are 11 feb next year. My last so I thought.
I’ve met the love of my life and feel I want his child as he does mine but are we just to old ? My thinking is see if it happens but if it doesn’t then it was just not mental to be but I also don’t want the heart ache of loss etc
Anyone got any positive on becoming a mum again at my age ??
Tia

I did it by accident. I was 46 when I gave birth . Best thing I have ever done. Totally knackering but exhilarating. DS has changed me from a stressed out workaholic to someone who really appreciates life. Go for it!
