As usual I am freaking out! MIL has given us some money to book a 4d scan and I am so excited!! Just having a little google now to see what's available near me.
Can't help thinking though, what if something is wrong? Do things normally happen with 4d ones that make people worry? Or have to be referred some where?
All was fine at 20 week scan although measuring roughly a week behind :(
Really want one but really nervous also, I'm 23 weeks currently.
Thanks x

Only reason they make people worry is if they have concerns over the safety of them.

Tbh you'll feel your baby move regularly soon and a scan probably won't feel that important anymore in a week or two

It’s not impossible but it is very unusual for a problem to be found during a 4d scan

However, what you’ve got to remember is that the scan won’t cause a problem, only possibly detect one that’s already there
