less than 1 in 4 chance of a healthy pregnancy

A little background.
Feb 2014 I had an ectopic pregnancy resulting in removal of my right tube.
I then became pregnant again in October 2015 with my son. We were told at our dating scan the NT level was 5.6 so we chose to have the CVS test. This was negative for all 90+ conditions including T18, T21 etc. It wasn't until our 20week anomaly scan we found out our son had a multitude of anomalies including abnormal brain development. He was given an incompatibility with life.
I had an amnio the next day and gave birth to him at 21 weeks 2 days after that (January 30th 2015). We also opted for a post mortem. Nothing was able to tell us what condition our son had so we were referred to a genetic counsellor and told to try again when we were ready. So we did.
I fell pregnant again in April 2015. However the babies heart had stopped beating around 10 weeks, we found out at our 12 weeks dating scan.
All these occurrences combined have resulted in the genetic counsellor giving us a 1 in 4 chance or reoccurrence, wether that be miscarriage because of anomalies or similar to how it went with my son.

This chance is decreased further by only having 1 tube which is partially blocked.

I guess the reason for this post is to hear words of encouragement. We are trying again (more like not using contraception and seeing what happens) but I'm so scared. I know nobody has a magic wand and no one can look into the future but it's just so hard ....

I just want to give you a big hug. What a hard time you have had.

Is there any further support the counsellor can offer? Counselling whilst you are TtC just to deal with your quite understandable worries.

Thankyou.

The genetic counsellor is more like someone who looks deeper into the facts from the tests and pm rather than helping us through. We did have counselling for a while but it wasn't really benefitting us anymore.
Maybe we should think about going back now we are ttc again xx

OP I am so sorry for you losses, you've been through a terrible time. The genetic counsellor is still saying you have a 3 in 4 chance of a healthy pregnancy and baby, please try to hold on to that.
