CVS procedure yesterday, pain straight after & a rant...sorry

I had a CVS done yesterday morning, wasn't as bad as I was expecting but not pleasant. As soon as the procedure was finished & when I stood up I suddenly felt very wobbly & faint, with tummy pains & nausea. Consultant assured my partner that this was ok & I went off to a little room to recover, drive home was poop but felt better after a lie down at home. We're now waiting for results, I'm 43 (part of the reason my results were high risk I believe, I have a 1:21 chance of carrying baby with DS, NT of 1.4 at 12 week scan last Monday) and obviously this is a very worrying time.... now to compound all of this we were due to move into a new house next Saturday, hefty deposit paid, removals booked, contracts signed by us, seemingly not him (we're currently renting) & the new landlord has pulled out today therefore leaving us a week to find a new place or nowhere to live. To say I'm furious is an understatement, just need some reassurance/hand-holding if poss, thank you for reading x

Hiya, doesn't found very nice. Are you feeling any better now? I'm due to have a CVS test tomorrow morning because I have a 1 in 4 chance of my child having a genetic condition. I already have a 2 year old with the genetic condition.

That's ridiculous I'm sure you don't need the stress, I hope you get things sorted.

Hello LBNM19, I do hope you're ok. Please try not to worry too much about tomorrow, far easier said than done I know. I feel lots better now thank you, it wasn't actually too bad just a very odd sensation really..I'm a nightmare when it comes to hospitals so hopefully that was just part of it, the consultant was lovely, very matter of fact (just what I need :).. No pussy footing around me is what's required otherwise I just get worse and make more of a drama of things, silly old me!!)
Feeling a lot more calm today trying to keep positive and my lovely mum is coming down tomorrow for a few days as DP is going in to hospital on Tuesday for a knee op...crickey it's never ending!! Starting the worlds fastest house hunt first thing!
Not sure if you've had the procedure done before so you may know about it already but please let me know how you get on tomorrow will be thinking of you x
