Driving/childcare after CVS?

I have to go for a CVS tomorrow, the consultant said it would be fine to take my DS with me and also to drive home after. Can anyone comment on whether this will be ok please?

Thanks so much x

Hi bigcorriefan

Sorry just realised that it's today I hope it's all gone ok.

I was going to say that i felt a bit shaky after mine but could probably have driven after a while. I can only assume they have some childcare facilities at your clinic because I know they wouldn't have been able to have a child in the room?

As I say I hope it's gone ok for you and you get at least some chance to rest a bit afterwards xx

Just got back from the CVS, well it certainly hurt a lot more than the consultant said, I was nearly jumping off the table. One of the nurses kindly looked after my little one for me. Managed to drive home but feel sick and shattered now so off to bed. Thanks for the reply suzyrut x

I was very sore for about 12 hours after this time, then went to work, and the next morning had some light bleeding (all fine when checked).

I made damn sure I got a cab home & DH did all child care for 24hrs. I would not have wanted to drive, but well done you for managing it.

Fingers crossed for results.
