Im 39+4 weeks, more than happy to get my pregnancy over and done with Grin

I've obviously had the "how will i get my body back" thoughts since becoming rather large lol and i came across belly binding and I'm an inch close to purchasing a postpartum girdle/belt/belly binding thing lol
But i wanted to hear from real woman ,their opinions and if they gave done or tried it, their experiences with it... As much as i love J-Lo i don't want to know how amazingly it helped her as she probably had people to look after her bubz while she had all the time in the world to work out and fit back into her pre pregnancy sized jeans! I bought one, I had good intentions but wore it for an hour or two and was so so hot! After you give birth you sweat a lot for a while to get rid of the excess fluid, and I found it v uncomfortable because of that. Also I had enough going on with my body what with bf, stitches etc to deal with, I found I couldn't face another 'thing' to deal with.
So, after giving it a go over a few days I stopped wearing it. I'm not saying they're a bad idea, it wasn't painful or anything, I just found I wasn't that motivated to stick it out all the time after all.

Ps, not sure this is in the right section, I wonder if youd get more response in style and beauty?

I'm a bit concerned. You've posted this in the depression topic.

Is someone putting pressure on you about your appearance/size during pregnancy? And is that adding to your anxiety (or any other manifestation of depression)

Because if so, it's OK to say that straight, rather than finding celebrity examples that that justify a position towards your body that isn't making you happy.
