twinklegreen Sat 19-Sep-09 18:40:42

I'm still here too, not due till end of next week and usually go overdue. So pretty sure I'll be the last x

Gonnabamumma Sat 19-Sep-09 18:48:51

Marking my spot!!

TrixieVix Sat 19-Sep-09 19:07:13

Still here.....envy

Minshu Sat 19-Sep-09 19:12:30

I reckon I'll be here until the bitter end!!

Watching Carry On Matron (set in a maternity unit) to try and get me in the mood grin

nitnat84 Sat 19-Sep-09 19:42:36

Still here!

Snowfalls108 Sat 19-Sep-09 19:57:45

I'm here!
6 days overdue.
Just had a lovely cry for no reason!

nitnat84 Sat 19-Sep-09 20:01:31

Snowfalls- I so feel like that! I am still convinced baby is not even fully engaged. So depressing. I am 5 days overdue. Just feel so low now

Snowfalls108 Sat 19-Sep-09 20:13:41

Nitnat - get yourself some ice cream! I'm just about to tuck into a tub of Hagan Daz and feeling better already.

StayFrosty Sat 19-Sep-09 21:02:08

I'm still here sad chuffin babies.

nitnat84 Sat 19-Sep-09 21:02:26

Yum! I may indulge in a Double Decker chocolate bar No ice cream in the house!
I will sit on my ball and scoff choco

Minshu Sat 19-Sep-09 21:07:31

Oh yes - I did buy some chocolate the other day, didn't I? One each of G&B dark, cherry and butterscotch grin Wouldn't mind a large glass of red to go with it, but will have to make do with milk, instead hmm

Thusnelda Sat 19-Sep-09 21:12:43

Hmm, no chocolate for me tonight but I have just had the most delicious home made 'Indian style' dinner including home-grown chillies!

nitnat84 Sat 19-Sep-09 21:12:43

G&B sounds a plan Minshu!

StayFrosty Sat 19-Sep-09 21:18:07

A glass of red isn't going to hurt at this stage, I don't think. I am having half a shandy tonight woo hoo!!!! Anyway, surely stinking of booziness is a sure fire way to end up on the maternity ward? grin Just a thought.....

Well, it looks like my sweep didn't work. Is anyone else getting fed up with not being able to plan little day to day things? I just did the Tesco online shop and I had a right dilemma picking a delivery slot for Monday.

Minshu Sat 19-Sep-09 21:31:19

Last time I had more than about half a glass of wine, the baby was really quiet the next day, so I'm a little paranoid about the effect it has on her (although that was quite a while ago now).

I know what you mean about planning. I've no idea what to do next week - I'll go bonkers if I spend the entire week pottering about the house, especially Tuesday - the big day!! hmm

Gonnabamumma Sat 19-Sep-09 21:41:20

Hi lady friends, I am BORED!!!!!!!!!!! I have cleaned all day, walked the dog, done some gardening, 3 loads of washing, bounced on my swiss ball till my knees creaked and still sweet FA happening - angry angry angry angry angry angry arrrrghghghghhghghghhghh!

Sorry for the rant blush, just feel trapped on the house and can't see the end in sight.

Sending you all labour vibes xxx

Thusnelda Sat 19-Sep-09 21:41:24

Minshu, I had that too: drank a small white wine spritzer and a glass of Prosecco (several hours apart) - and the next day the baby was pretty quiet - hung over? I did feel bad about it but I so needed it at the time! I had had some sort of hysterical anger fit at the bookshop and called my boyfriend while I was crying and chucking books into the corner of the store room. It was a Friday afternoon so he took the rest of the day off and rushed over to force me to do the same and a lovely afternoon was spent on the Riverside Studios terrace...

StealthPolarBear Sat 19-Sep-09 23:31:13

Congratulations TrixieB and AprilMeadow

So sorry for lack of update - i did mean to ask oooggs in the text to update you, but i was tired April is home, has spent the afternoon asleep and being cuddled by her grandparents and is now making up for it with a feedathon!
AM - very envy of the 4 hour turnaround! thought it had to be a minimum of 6! Also they say if you've had a straightforward delivery and you ~& baby both fine you can be discharged in 6 - well I've had that twice now and no joy! Had 6 hours of sitting on the bed waiting to be discharged togeay angry

StayFrosty Sat 19-Sep-09 23:41:23

Sorry i am so busy beng grumpy I have not congratualted our newly graduated mummies.

****Congratulations****** and woo to the muthafluffin hoo!

Shandy has made baby Frosty a bit lairy, I have told him if he wants to kick he can come outside and do it.

Dd has been funny again today, when she was up in bed she was going 'Daddy where's [baby Frosty]'s bed? Where's [baby Frosty]'s bed?' on the baby monitor. He is becoming real to her even if he's not very real to me atm.

eightisseventoomany Sat 19-Sep-09 23:59:29

Im still here....

sorry for late post....have been in bed most of today feeling very ill & being sick....

have been sat on my rocking chair with a hot water bottle trying to ease my terrible back pain...whilst watching ..>I am Legend<.. most of this evening.....!!!!

every movement to my computer room is very painful !!!!!
so trying not to move too much.

I like the statement :-

" the closer a woman is to the ground.....the closer she is to giving birth" !!!!

considering Im bent over like an old woman must surely be good then ???

my curry night last night was a disaster BTW !!!! and I was up all night being violently sick & I was in AGONY

never again !!!!!!!!!!!

lets hope more of us are popping off to hospital tonight hmm

lots of wishful thinking here from mumsyladys house

StealthPolarBear Sun 20-Sep-09 00:04:55
