New Thread before the old one fills up.

Pinkjenny Thu 25-Jun-09 09:56:37

I do wish my colleague would shut up today. I feel nauseous and not at all excited. Good title, though. smile

Pinkjenny Thu 25-Jun-09 10:34:48

I refuse to update my due date on the basis that I know exactly when this baby was conceived, and I know when it's due. Humph.

I am just flabbergasted that I still feel so sick. I joined MN last time at 13+2, and my first post is all excited about the sickness having stopped and you can sense the anticipation and naivety in my tone. I am so fed up this time around, and feel like I have just been such a bad mum to dd for the past 7 weeks of this horrendous sickness.

Damn you, you corpus luteum cyst!

SarahL2 Thu 25-Jun-09 10:41:53

You're not alone PJ, I also feel like a terrible parent at the mo. DS is watching far too much TV while I lay around feeling like death warmed up Then I feel more terrible cause he is missing out.

I hope the sickness subsides soon but if this pg is anything like Ds's it won't be gone for a few months yet!

We'll make it up to them just as soon as we feel better

Right, I have a 2nd birthday party to face... Have a good day everyone.

Nubbin Thu 25-Jun-09 10:42:16

Hello

Been lurking for a while - but decided to add - due on Dec 3rd with DC1 (although that date would make it an immaculate conception.)

Finally stopped feeling sick (was beginning to think that would never happen) although now bump is growing at an alarming rate.

summermagic Thu 25-Jun-09 10:47:55

Hi ladies

Can I first say a massive congratulations to you all on your pregnancies. You must all be so excited.

Sorry to crash your thread. I'm on the assisted conception thread as have had ovaries drilled due to PCOS and having a few more goes at natural conception before moving on to IVF in the Autumn.

I'm currently in the tww and having my normal pms symptoms. AF not due till Sunday but was wondering whether any of you experienced your usual monthly symptoms before getting a BFP at the end of it.

Just hoping for a glimmer of hope to get me through to the weekend.

Thanks and congratulations to you all agian. xx

Baisey Thu 25-Jun-09 12:31:31

summermagic, I got period like pains a great deal, the trouble with normal period symptoms is they are alot like early pregnancy ones! tender boobs, bloating etc, wish you all the luck!

I had a sick free day yesterday! grin
But not today... sad

Congrats Nubbin. My bump is also growing scarily quick. Im also getting people touching it this time round. Wasnt so bad with DS because it was like I had a malteaser stuck up my top when I was pregnant with him.

LaDiDaDi Thu 25-Jun-09 12:48:07

Posting on this thread so that it comes up on my "threads I'm on".

My jeans are straing at the seams now at 13+ weeks. I'm sure I wore normal jeans until nearly 20 weeks last time...

Kingsroadie Thu 25-Jun-09 13:30:05

Hi all - have moved over, having not been on the old thread for a while. Had a skim to catch up and found the loo roll measuring party. So what did I have to do immediately? Go downstairs to the loo at work and measure myself using Andrex. Loser. Result? Almost 7 sheets at 17+1 ( in case anyone cares).

Anyone else really feeling the heat at the moment? I have had a couple of odd days where I am just wiped out. Walking seems like an effort and I am ready to fall asleep at my desk. Also having headaches and feeling a bit faint. Am pretty sure it's not dehydration or anaemia as I drink loads of water and take pregnacare and eat a good idet including spinach and red meat. It's probably just the baby growing and the heat etc but does make we wonder how I'll feel with working when I get really big! (In property so does involve quite a bit of running around)

anniebigpants Thu 25-Jun-09 21:19:53

I too am feeling wiped out by the heat, finding it a real struggle to get through the working day, thank goodness im only in 3 days a week.
Ive took the toilet roll test and am 9 sheets,at 17+2.

Anyone else got a date through for their 20 week scan yet? Mines just less than 2 weeks time when i,ll be 19+1.

Milliemuffin Thu 25-Jun-09 22:05:33

My 20wk scan is friday 14th august xx

blackteaplease Fri 26-Jun-09 10:00:21

Hello, I've found you. I didn't post much on the old thread but was enjoying lurking!

I'm starting to feel huge now and most people have guessed at work. It still feels like a long time until the baby comes though.

slippedhaloes Fri 26-Jun-09 10:19:10

Hi,

I've been enjoying reading all our posts! I'm due on December 16th (UCH) and this is my first so it's been great to find this thread! I've been very sick so not really showing and am getting a little paranoid about people commenting about my lack of bump. Will be relieved when I have my 20 wk scan! Anyway, it's great to be here!

Scorps Fri 26-Jun-09 10:48:19

My scan is 7th August. Will be finding out gender too....lthough if its a girl i dont know what on earth i will call it...DH and i disagree hugely on baby naming ideas.

Don't worry about bump size, with my first i didnt have a bump for a long time, don't worry.

Pinkjenny Fri 26-Jun-09 11:14:36

My scan is 20th August. I am destined to be last with everything on this thread. Slightly undecided as to finding out the sex this time, but am erring towards a surprise.

Claire236 Fri 26-Jun-09 13:07:14

My 20 week scan is 21 July. We found out we're having a boy at the 12 week nuchal fold scan.

Pinkjenny Fri 26-Jun-09 13:09:33

Wow, I had no idea they could tell the sex at 12 weeks.

Scorps Fri 26-Jun-09 13:20:22

They looked at mine but it had the cord in the way the whole time!!

Devongirl Fri 26-Jun-09 14:17:05

Mine was on his/her back and they couldn't tell. Last time round it was incredibly obvious at the 20 week scan so the decision about finding out was taken out of our hands (made his Dad very proud!)

Has anyone else got very bad hayfever? I remember this from last time too - pregnancy rhinitis. My nose is dripping! TMI?

I read the book about the house in the tummy to my boy yesterday and he loved it, and has been talking to the baby through my tummy button! So cute! He keeps shouting HELLO BABY very loudly which is really funny!!! Aren't kid amazing, he just accepted it all so simply. Am feeling very proud of my little boy today and I have a feeling he's going to be a great big brother (hopefully).

smile

Pinkjenny Fri 26-Jun-09 14:20:14

OMG I thought I had a cold???!!!! Is that true??
