Fingers crossed this works, no idea how to make a thread but giving it my best shot. Let the May babies continue!

teainbed Wed 17-May-17 07:28:10

Found you! Thanks for the new thread.

FoxMulder Wed 17-May-17 07:32:09

Congratulations McBaby, hungarianlanterns and SipperSkipper! 3 barbies!

It's my due date today! Never been here before!

FoxMulder Wed 17-May-17 07:33:33

Haha babies not barbies. I hope. grin

Rustler74 Wed 17-May-17 07:33:48

May there always be new babies haha! Place marking with lots of oxytocin flowing here! I may be a mummy in the next few days hurray! blush

CoxsOrangePippin Wed 17-May-17 08:26:15

Big congratulations mcbaby! Had you had a previous water birth?

I might be a mummy by the end of this thread shock

Sonnet18 Wed 17-May-17 08:31:00

Thanks for the new thread! Congrats again to all the new mums! So lovely to log in and see all the new arrivals.

I'm 40 plus 5, midwife couldn't do sweep on Monday so booked for induction in one week. Never been this pregnant before so I'm pretty pissed off and in quite a bit of pain...ah well, 7 days maximum to go!

BouncingBlueberry Wed 17-May-17 08:34:33

How many of us are still left to have our babies? Doesn't feel like many any more. Congratulations Mcbaby I think we've nearly
had every type of birth now.

savagehk Wed 17-May-17 08:40:45

Quite a few... And lots of us over "due date" too.

ClaireSunflower Wed 17-May-17 08:59:37

Thanks for the new thread and congratulations to @dreamofhungarianlanterns @mcbaby and @sipperSkipper!

It's exciting to see all the babies arrive although I have a feeling I have a while to go (39+3) today. No twinges or any slight indication at all he is coming so preparing myself mentally to go overdue!

lullaby23 Wed 17-May-17 09:15:32

Thanks for the new thread. Still waiting here 38+3 and eviction on Monday!

mrspage1985 Wed 17-May-17 09:23:26

Thanks for new thread, congrats on all the new babies
Just marking my place - only 38+1 though so doubt mine is coming anytime soon 😪x

I am still here!
Today is my due date. I was up from 12:30-4 this morning with intense back pain but it is gone now.
Doubt baby will arrive before my next MW appt on sat morning.

Brightsmoke Wed 17-May-17 09:39:55

Just popping in quickly to place mark and say congratulations to Dream, McBaby & Sipper.

Been in the hospital for nearly 24 hours now, 40+14 today and baby still not keen of eviction and all efforts for induction yesterday died off over night. Bouncing away on the ball this morning. Had 2 lots of gel, have 1 more I can have in 4 hours if still no luck!

Hope everyone with twinges has better behaved babies than mine! And fingers crossed for all those who's due date has been and gone and are still waiting!

EsmesBees Wed 17-May-17 09:50:09

Thanks for the new thread. Just marking my place. No baby here yet. Due date Sunday shock

lullaby23 Wed 17-May-17 10:08:26

Come on baby bright!

1004Rise Wed 17-May-17 10:09:26

@MissMooMoo @FoxMulder happy due date ladies! Hope you get to meet your babies soon!

Thanks for the new thread @Tickyboovicki

@Brightsmoke good luck!

@savagehk should we start a sweepstake to see who gets the most daft messages before baby arrives?!

teainbed Wed 17-May-17 10:10:41

Good luck @Brightsmoke !

BabyTea really resisting a nap this morning. angry Looks exhausted but won't settle wth cuddles, yet another feed or in bed. <sigh>

Tickyboovicki Wed 17-May-17 10:20:32

First day with other half back at work! Have managed to eat some breakfast but haven't settled since so no chance of shower or getting dressed just yet 🙄

So worried that the day will feel very long! Hoping for some decent naps so I can get some packing done as well!

vanilla8 Wed 17-May-17 10:46:00

Congrats to all the new babies and thanks for lovely adorable pics.

Good luck @Brightsmoke

39 weeks today. I spent yesterday batch cooking, mainly cake today smile
My feet have swollen up really bad last two days. I'm assuming this is normal!?
Today I'm going to finally wash baby's first clothes!

samatamfabahaba Wed 17-May-17 11:08:58

I'm 38+1 today, due the 30th and REALLY hoping it won't be much later, I am so ready to be able to bend over again! Hoping for a water birth if I can, I'm up north at the RVI in Newcastle. Nervous, excited and much more physically prepared than mentally!!

McBaby Wed 17-May-17 11:10:53

Yes first water birth and first time in the birth centre the last two times I have had to be on the labour ward with continuous monitoring and there is no birth pool avalible.

1004Rise Wed 17-May-17 11:11:17

Question for more experienced ladies among us....breastfeeding in public how do you do it? I'm not that brave yet but I'd maybe like to practice at home to get it slick grin

luckyleeds Wed 17-May-17 11:23:22

Hi everyone. I'm a long time lurker on this thread - I've been reading it for months, and it's been great to hear all about your experiences. Hope it's ok to join at the eleventh hour?! My due date is tomorrow and have been starting to feel painful cramps this morning, so hopefully something is starting to move in the right direction. Loving all the baby pics - congratulations to everyone who has had their little ones - how exciting smile
